Pipeline wall friction contributes up to 30% of the overall drag / friction in a pipeline depending on the crude and condition of the pipe.  The microscopic particles in XFLOW will fill irregularities in the pipeline walls, leaving a smooth surface and thus reduce wall friction.

XFLOW also reduces the oil shear stress by increasing the mobility of the oil flow and improves the viscosity by lubricating the intermolecular friction.  It is designed to prevent the molecular hydrocarbon crystals migrating to the pipeline walls, which will also increase fluid velocity.

XFLOW is capable of eliminating pressure drop in turbulent flow regime as the product totally coats the inner wall of pipelines. Thus, this same energy will then produce increased flow rate at high pump efficiency.
